KINDERGARTEN
CLASS - BIRTHDAY READING
Toula,
the kids loved the book and the lollipops!!! Attached are
a few pics. The best parts were when we all made
rocket ship noises, and doing the "Arrrrrrr!"
as pirates. We guessed the colors on the hot
air balloon, and also found the letter X.
Great job on the book!
Thanks
again.

My
4 year-old son is very particular about which books he wants to
listen to. From the first time we read, “What Can We Do Next?” he
was hooked. We have
been reading it every day for a month and now he knows the story
well enough to “read” it himself.

In
today's entertainment focused culture, this book is a wonderful
reminder to children, that they have the power, to entertain
themselves!
"What
Can We Do Next?" explores the mind of Lexie, a little girl
stuck inside, on a rainy day. Through reading Lexie's adventures,
children are encouraged to use their imaginations, and prompted with
lines like, "treasures don't always have to be gold coins or
jewels"...a refreshing sentiment, in times like these, when our
children are bombarded with images of greed, every day. This book
encourages creative thinking and could be well used, in a preschool,
kindergarten or first grade classroom. Children
could be prompted to draw or write about what kind of imaginary
friend they might create, and what types of adventures they might
dream up. All in all, a delightful read, which I highly recommend.

Reading
it to my three-year-old granddaughter for the first time, I found
the book to be slightly longer than her attention
span, though she did take great interest in the adventures of
Lexie and Lolly at the time. She now asks me to read it to
her, and enjoys hearing it over and over.
The
book is extremely valuable in stimulating children to create
and enjoy their own imaginary friends.
I particularly liked the way Lexie named her imaginary new
friend. Liking lollipops and bright colors, she came up with
the name "Lolly".
I hope there will be more stories to come. Well Done!

"What
Can We Do Next?" is a charming delightful book featuring a
child's imagination. In today's world with children's obsessions of
electronic gadgets; this book is a breath of fresh air. It brings
back the "olden" days when children amused themselves for
hours with simple things. A blanket became a cave or a cape,
imaginary creatures would chase us around the yard and we'd have to
hide behind a tree or rock to escape being eaten alive! I highly
recommend this book and I hope Ms. Magi will write a sequel for more
imaginary adventures of Lexie and Lolly! Two thumbs up!

What
Can We Do Next? The Adventures of Lexie and Lolly is a delightful
new children's book. Lexie and Lolly's adventures truly teaches
young children how to use their imagination to pass the time on a
"rainy day" or anytime they wish. In today's world, young
children often don't think to use their imagination with all of the
available technology. This story will help children to develop that
imagination. The pictures were beautifully done and are very
colorful. I will thoroughly enjoy reading this delightful book to
the children as a childcare provider.

I
bought the book for my son Nikolas who was eight at the time.
He can really use his imagination, so he enjoyed the
adventures. He then read it to a friend's 3 year old daughter
and she listened attentively as he read each page. She
didn't want to part with it, so we gave it her! I gave another
copy to a friend who has 3 girls and they all enjoyed it.
This is a great book to have and share with friends! I love the
colorfulness of the words and pages!
